Physical Plant - Fleet

GTCC has a vehicle inventory of nine (9) fleet vehicles. These vehicles are for the use of faculty and staff for official college business. The Vehicle Maintenance Technician has the responsibility of ensuring each vehicle is mechanically sound and ready for use.

Some of the functions performed to that end are:

• Oil, fuel and air filter changes
• Tire pressure, condition and rotation
• Brake testing and adjustment
• Body continuity and condition
• Checking oil level
• Refueling
• Fuel consumption analysis
• Cleaning all exterior and interior
• Additional preventive maintenance as recommended by manufacturer

The goals of Fleet Services are personnel safety and vehicle preservation.
Please immediately report any problems or difficulties with the vehicles to the attention of Vehicle Maintenance.
