Trans Tech Elective Courses
|
Elective Courses are business related courses that can be taken individually (not as part of a Certificate Program). These courses enhance the employee’s expertise in a subject that might be helpful in their current job or as a way to broaden skills that would be useful to the company. A supervisor might suggest that an employee take a particular Elective Course to provide a skill set necessary to complete a particular project or as an enhancement to the employee’s individual skills.
• Can sign up for up to four Elective Courses per calendar year
• Can also sign up for up to two Personal Interest Courses per calendar year
• Must provide HR with a copy of their Final Exam grade as proof of completion
• After two failing grades (less than 75% on Final Exam) or non-completion of courses, employee loses eligibility to take any classes for remainder of calendar year |
