Welcome to the GTCC Staff Association
|
The purpose of the GTCC Staff Association is to foster cooperation with the administration and faculty to uphold the college's mission, in attaining the college's goals, and to further the role of the staff in recommending and implementing policy concerning staff affairs. The Staff Association is open to all full-time and regular part-time members of the staff of Guilford Technical Community College below the rank of assistant dean or director. Staff Association is active in many areas at GTCC. Fundraising events are held throughout the year to support the Staff Association scholarship. Staff association is represented on many of the standing committees at GTCC including Institutional Effectiveness, Grievance Advisory, Traffic Appeals, Diversity, Information Technology, Professional Development, Student Success Action Committee, Employee Relations, and on the Board of Trustees. Staff association also enhances GTCC life by holding events for members and sponsoring campus-wide functions such as the Stock our Shelves Food Pantry and Edna’s Kids Christmas Food Baskets.
