Welcome To GTCC Children's Center

The GTCC Children's Center is a 5-star child care facility that is located on the Jamestown campus. We are housed in the Service Careers Building. The Center is open from 7:00 am - 5:30 pm Monday through Friday. We care for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years. We serve children from the Jamestown/Greensboro/High Point community, as well as children of GTCC staff/faculty and students.

The Children's Center has three basic purposes:

1. To provide quality care for the children enrolled;

2. To serve as a demonstration training site for the GTCC Early Childhood Education curriculum and local agencies;

3. To assist GCC students, GTCC employees, and the community by providing child care services.

The Children's Center is licensed by the North Carolina Department of Human Resources - Division of Child Development. For more information on the child care in ç, please visit the Division of Child Development's website at http://ncchildcare.dhhs.state.nc.us/general/home.asp.

The Children's Center participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program. More information on this program can be found at http://www.nutritionnc.com/snp/cacfp.htm.

We would love the opportunity to talk to you about how our program might fit the needs of your family. Please contact me at ashartgrove@gtcc.edu for more information.
