Daily Schedule for Preschool 1 Class

** Schedule is flexible and responsive to individual and group needs, weather, etc.

7:00 - 8:30
 Greet children and parents.
Free choice in centers (housekeeping, art, sensory table, discovery science and math, writing table, blocks, music, computer,  manipulatives, cozy area, and book area)
8:30 - 9:00 Children wash hands, breakfast.
9:00 - 9:20 Clean up breakfast, wash hands, potty.
9:20 - 9:40 Group time - song, introduce topic, book, movement, letter, Number, or shape/color.
9:40 - 10:10 Gross motor activities.  If weather permission - outside.
10:10 - 11:10 Children wash hands upon entering classroom, Free choice in centers (housekeeping, art, sensory table, discovery science and math, writing table, blocks, music, computer, manipulatives, cozy area and book area.)  Groups rotate to explore materials on the outside blue area.
11:10 - 11:30 Group time - song, share time, movement, calendar, weather.
11:30 - 12:00 Children wash hands, lunch, wash hands after lunch, potty.
12:00 - 2:00 Rest time, children will potty as needed.
2:00 - 2:30 Wake up.  Potty upon waking up.  Put beds away.  Quiet activities while children wake-up.
2:30 - 3:00 Children wash hands, Afternoon snack served, wash hands after snack.
3:00 - 3:30 Free choice in centers (housekeeping, art, sensory table, discovery science and math, writing table, blocks, music, computer, manipulatives, cozy area and book area)
3:30 - 4:00 Gross motor activities outside.  Wash hands upon return to classroom.
4:00 - 4:15 Afternoon group
4:15  - 5:15 Free choice in centers (housekeeping, art, sensory table,
discovery science and math, writing table, blocks, music, computer, manipulatives, cozy area and book area)
5:15 - 5:30 Get ready for departure.  Get quiet individual games, books, etc.  
Quiet games with teacher.
