than you think.
The Quick Careers Training program offers a wide variety of
short-term training options at affordable prices. Courses are
offered during day and evening hours, including hybrid
courses*. Additionally, students may be eligible to sit for
and earn a third-party, industry-recognized credential**.
*Hybrid Courses are taught using two
instructional formats, combining traditional face-to-face classroom
instruction with computer-based distance education.
Students registered in a Hybrid Course MUST attend the
first day of class. Students who are absent the first day of class,
will not be allowed to enter class.

tests are conducted outside of GTCC with an additional

The fee for the Human Resources Development class is $78.00;
students may be eligible for a fee waiver.
The NC Career Readiness exam is $30.00. Students are responsible
for the cost of the exam. Payment of the fees will be discussed in
The Human Resources Development and NC Career Readiness
Certificate classes/labs, are components of the courses.
NOTE: 2-4 additional days may be scheduled on different
days than the regular class meeting day (i.e. a class scheduled for
Wednesday may also meet on an occasional Thursday), for HRD and
