Broker Pre-Licensing | Post-Licensing Courses | Math Only Courses | License Renewal Courses
This is the required course you need in preparation to become a "provisional broker". This course covers basic real estate principles and practices, including real estate law, contracts, brokerage practices, financing, closing, valuation, fair housing, property management, taxation, and mathematics as well as other related topics. To qualify for the IN-CLASS final exam, students MUST have a combined average score of 80% on the three mini-exams given during class. They can then take the final exam, and if they pass this, they are eligible to take the North Carolina Real Estate Commission exam that is required to become a licensed real estate broker.
Note to Students: Please have read chapters 1, 2 & 3 prior to attending the 1st class.
This course is 82 hours in length and costs $183. There are additional fees for textbook and materials, which must be purchased from the bookstore located on the campus where your class is being taught.

This 14-hour class is designed specifically to help you prepare for and pass the NC State licensing exam. You will practice, practice, practice taking exams. Any concerns will be addressed and open discussion and interaction will be encouraged. In these two days, you will conquer your exam anxieties and feel well-positioned to pass the State Licensing Exam. TO BE ELIGIBLE TO TAKE THIS COURSE, YOU MUST HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED THE BROKER PRE-LICENSING CLASS (RLS-3700). No textook required.
