Career Readiness Certification

The NC Career Readiness Certificate (CRC) is a portable credential that promotes career development and skill attainment for the individual and confirms to employers that an individual possesses basic workplace skills in the following areas: Reading For Information, Applied Math and Locating Information. These are the skills that most jobs require. With the Career Readiness Certificate, individuals prove they have the skills needed to successfully enter and advance in the workplace. A growing number of employers view the NC Career Readiness Certificate as evidence of essential skills and may require a CRC during the hiring process.
