Quick Jobs With A Future! JobsNOW

The Quick Jobs program offers a wide variety of courses in 90 days or less at affordable prices. Courses are offered days/evenings/hybrid*. Awards of Completion are earned at the successful completion of courses.

A high school diploma or GED is required to participate. Individuals must also have good computer skills and earn a NC Career Readiness Certificate** by the end of training. For additional information, contact us: 336-334-4822; Ext. 53108 or quickjobs@gtcc.edu

* Hybrid Courses are taught using two instructional formats: on campus and online. It combines traditional face to face classroom instruction with computer-based distance education. Students meet on campus for the lecture portion of the class and then also work independently to complete the online portion of the course. Students registered in a Hybrid Course MUST attend the first day of class. Students who are absent the first day of class, will not be allowed to enter class.

** The fee for the NC Career Readiness Exam is $30.00. Students are responsible for the cost of the exam. Payment of the fee will be discussed in class.

Quick Jobs Course Requirements For Successful Completion

• Earn an overall average of 80% in each major course subject area.
• Be present 90% of the scheduled contact hours.
• Attain a Career Readiness Certificate (CRC) by the end of course. Each class will have a scheduled orientation to prepare students for a scheduled (Work Keys) assessment, please see CRC Career Readiness Certificate.
• Human Resources Development is also a component of the Quick Jobs Program; providing up to 8 hours of instruction for successful job searches and retention, please see HRD Human Resources Development.
