Automotive Maintenance Technician: Auto Safety & OBD II

Are you mechanically inclined? Do you enjoy hands-on physical activities? If you answered "yes" to any of these, the Automotive Maintenance Technician: Auto Safety & OBD Emission course at GTCC may just be the training you need to obtain a job in the demanding field of automotive service. This one-week training program will give you the basic skills necessary to use NC state certified inspection equipment and to perform NCDMV Safety & OBD Emissions Inspections.

Salary Range: $10-$14 per hour for entry level positions with potential to earn more with additional training and experience

This 16-hour training includes:

• Auto safety inspection
• OBD II emission inspection
• Inspection procedures
• Rules and regulations of inspection

Requirements to Register for this Quick Jobs class:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Basic Computer Skills
