Automotive Preventative Maintenance and Brake Repair

Are you mechanically inclined? Do you enjoy hands-on physical activity? If you answered "yes", this Preventative Maintenance and Brake Repair training program at GTCC may just be the training you need to obtain a job in the demanding field of automotive service. This six-week training program will give you the basic skills to perform routine service and maintenance, flush service on automatic transmissions and cooling systems, as well as brake repair and service.

Salary Range: $10-$14 per hour for entry level positions with potential to earn more with additional training and experience

This 80-hour training includes:

• Perform routine service
• Perform scheduled maintenance
• Troubleshoot brake concerns
• Make basic brake repairs

Requirements to Register for this Quick Jobs class:

• High School Diploma/GE
• Basic Computer Skills
