GTCC is committed to reflecting and expecting the "employability skills." We reflect these skills as we work together at the college; we expect these skills from each other and from students.
The "employability skills" were identified in a Ciba Educational Foundation grant-funded project. In that project, local employers worked on a chart that not only named these key skills, but specified behaviors linked to those skills. These skills are now part of the expected "institutional level student competencies". They are also part of our annual performance evaluation for all employees.
