GTCC Assessment Center

| Welcome |
The Assessment Center administers more than 20 kinds of tests including GTCC placement tests, on-line and telecourse tests, classroom make-up tests, CLEP, TEAS, WORK KEYS, and tests for other schools.
GTCC placement tests, classroom, telecourse, and on-line faculty tests are administered on a walk-in basis.
All other tests are administered during specific time periods and/or by appointment.
You may qualify for testing accommodations on the basis of a disability (physical disability, hearing impairment, visual impairment, documented learning disability, etc.). Please contact the Counseling Center (Melissa Cox at 336-334-4822 ext. 2363) to receive official GTCC testing accommodation documentation. Please advise us before you begin any test if you need special accommodations. Accommodations for a learning disability require documentation. Children may not stay in the center while you take a test and may not be left unattended outside the center. A photo ID, such as a driver's license, is required for all testing. Cellular phones and pagers are not permitted at any time in the Assessment Center.

| Announcements |
During the Summer Session, the Assessment Center closes at 1:00pm on Fridays.
This means that students must arrive at the Assessment Center no later than 12:00pm noon to begin their test. |
