Here is just a sample of the things the State Auditor checks. You may be surprised…they check more than rosters, and so does the Auditing Office. The following items are used in performing a program audit. Previous program audit findings or recent “issues” may require an expanded audit. |

| In addition, the Auditing Office provides consultation services to the college community by clarifying applicable North Carolina General Statutes, Title 23 of the North Carolina Administrative Code, State Board of Community Colleges policies, and the North Carolina Community College System Office guidelines and reporting requirements and our own Management Manual policy and procedures. We function in a consultative, coaching, and proactive manner and are available to provide assistance with implementation of the previously mentioned laws, policies, procedures, guidelines, and reporting requirements. |
