The Counseling Center, located in the Medlin Campus Center on the Jamestown Campus, provides academic, career, and personal counseling services for current and prospective students of GTCC. Counseling services are also available at 901 South Main Street in High Point and at 3505 East Wendover Avenue in Greensboro.
The staff consists of professionally trained, master's degree level counselors who have extensive experience in the field of student development. They are committed to helping people achieve their potential through education and personal growth. Students may also be referred to outside agencies for mental health services.
In addition to individual counseling, the Counseling Center provides educational planning services, academic advising to undecided and special credit students, and workshops on various topics.
All services are provided on a walk-in basis.
Services are free to students and the general public. |
