Student Responsibiblities
|
| It is the responsibility of each student to: |
Provide the college with current documentation of his/her disability.
Initiate requests for accommodations and/or services.
Meet with a disAbility Access Services counselor at the agreed upon times.
Maintain good class attendance. (Note taking services will not be provided when a student is not in class.)
Prepare and be on time for all tutoring sessions. (It is the policy of the Peer Tutorial Service to terminate services if the student receiving tutoring is absent twice without contacting the Tutoring Center.)
Discuss needs and/or requests for testing accommodations with the instructor, and if necessary a disAbility Access Services staff member, at least one week in advance.
Attend workshops that the student feels would benefit academic development.
Abide by college rules and regulations as stated in the GTCC student handbook. |
