| The International Student Office at GTCC offers a variety of services and activities for international students. It provides a focal point for programs and activities designed to promote a free exchange of information and international understanding. This environment of support and encouragement serves both native and foreign nationals. This office supplies the college community and local surrounding community with diversity and a sense of unity. |

| The office is a part of the Department of Academic Support Services in the division of Student Services. The office is located on the Jamestown campus, but serves all college locations. |

| The major function of the office is to provide assistance to all students attending GTCC on a visa, but the office provides counseling, advising and assistance to ALL students, foreign born and domestic. |

Provide admission services
Facilitate fulfillment of immigration requirements
Assist and support international student activities
Consult and adviss with college faculty and staff
Serve as a support in academic guidance
Provide personal services
Coordinate efforts to resolve emergency problems
Refers to/for community outreach
Provide medical insurance information
Provide enrollment verification letters
Offer income tax forms/workshops
Referrals to other agencies |
