| What is Professional Development |
| Professional Development includes activities which assist employees in advancing their personal and professional knowledge, competence, skill and behavior. Employees are encouraged to participate in professional development activities which support institutional goals and serve to improve the overall efectiveness and efficiency of the College. Participating in professional development activities which meet individual needs enhance performance is also strongly encouraged. |
