Auditing vs. Credit
|
Students must indicate if they want to audit a class or get credit for a class when they register. To define the difference please read the information below:

Audit Status
Audit status means that you are not seeking credit or a grade in a class but are taking the class for your own benefit. Students have the official add period to declare audit status. Rather than receiving a letter grade, the student will be awarded an "AU" indicating the course was audited.

Credit Status
Credit status means that you are working towards earning a grade for the class you are taking and earning credit points for the class. The fee is the same for both but the outcome is different.
