Registration
|
| New Students |
New students who have completed the admissions and advising process can register for classes during the designated registration times.
Registration is held three times each year.Dates and times are announced for each semester and are listed in the academic calendar in the school catalog, schedule of classes, and on the web site.
Students should get a class schedule, choose their classes, and see their advisor as required. |

| Special Credit Students |
| Special Credit Students do not have to be advised; but need to be aware that they do not have to take placement tests or provide transcripts unless there is a prerequisite for a class. If there is a prerequisite requirement they would have to meet that requirement either through placement testing or by providing transcripts that show necessary prerequisite requirements. |

| Current Students |
urrent students can register by TRACS, after they have met with their advisor and received their PIN, on or after their designated appointment time.
Registering means that your choice of classes has been keyed into the computer system (either by the student calling our Telephone Registration And Communication System - TRACS; an advisor entering the classes into the computer system; or a Records staff person entering them) so that you have a seat in a particular class.
If your classes have been entered, you will have a control number, which is a transaction number. This number has to be taken to the cashier to be validated.
The cashier will issue a pink receipt with all enrolled classes listed.
Please check your pink receipt to verify registration of correct classes.
Be sure to note section numbers of classes.
The section number is what distinguishes the location of the class.
There is also a location key in the schedule of classes. Make sure your classes are on the same campus; or that you have enough time to travel to another campus. |
