SGA Community Service
|
Community service at GTCC is provided to students to enhance experiences for their development through volunteer opportunities. A few examples of this have been working with Habitat for Humanity of High Point, American Red Cross Blood Drives, FOX8 Gifts for Kids, Greensboro Urban Ministries and Edna's Kids (a GTCC worthy cause).
The opportunity to do community service outside of Guilford County has also happened. We have traveled to Charleston, SC to work on housing and we have gone to Columbia, SC to work with the SC Juvenile Detention Center, As you can tell we offer a wide-array of volunteer experiences. We need people who enjoy helping out in their own community!
