The vision of the Teacher Education Network is to provide students interested in elementary, middle, special, and/or secondary teacher education with a seamless pathway to a teaching career and to collaborate with our K-12 and university partners to enhance the recruitment and preparation of future teachers.
Through our Teacher Education Network, GTCC works closely with our six county partner senior education institutions to provide a seamless pathway for our Associate of Arts Education Pre-major students. The following agreements/program plans outline the courses you need to take based on your level, your choice of transfer institution, and your choice of a concentration area. The courses outlined fulfill the requirements for the AA degree at GTCC and the transfer requirements for the senior institution. In addition, the courses outlined on these plans will help prepare you for successful completion of the Praxis I exam and your final two years of academic study.
