| What is Lateral Entry? |
Lateral Entry is an alternative route to teaching that allows qualified individuals to obtain a teaching position and begin teaching immediately, while earning a license as they teach. Lateral entry teachers must complete specific courses towards licensure within a specified period of time. To be considered for lateral entry, you must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
