How to become our fan?
Click the "Become a Fan" button in the Facebook panel at right. Facebook will require you to login to verify who you are. That’s it.
How does this work?
For every 500 fans our eLearning Facebook page acquires, we will randomly select one from our total number of fans for a $25 gift certificate for the GTCC bookstore. This means that if you are already a fan, you are already entered in all drawings. A student will be randomly selected by our Vice President of Student Learning and Success. The winner will be announced on our page and notified by message via Facebook with directions on how to pick up his/her certificate. This "Become our Fan" initiative with gift certificates officially ends at 5pm on December 14, 2009.
Why are we doing this?
GTCC’s eLearning department serves all students at GTCC. We look over systems that our students use everyday like Moodle, Pronto and Wimba. When our systems go down, we need a quick way to let you know. Become our fan and get the inside scoop on all eLearning announcements. The great thing about being our fan is that you are probably already using Facebook to talk to your friends. So, let us come to you to keep you up-to-date.
