Beginning Distance Learning
There are just four easy steps to take to begin your distance learning experience.
Step One
Register for classes at Guilford Technical Community College. Visit our Admissions department for application and to begin the registration process.
Step Two
Explore our website to prepare yourself for the upcoming semester.
Step Three
Attend or participate in an Orientation.
Telecourses and Online courses require Orientation. Failure to complete this step can result in loss of online access to your course.
Step Four
Visit your online course during the first week of class. The best way to start is to read your syllabus. If you are taking a telecourse, visit our telecourse playback schedule for dates and times of your program.
