Click OK to close the Options window, and try to log in to Blackboard. If that fails, it is possible that virus protection program on your computer is blocking the page. The McAfee security program for Windows distributed by RoadRunner has a known issue. If you have that program installed and you have a problem, try this:
Right click on the McAfee icon in the taskbar in the lower right corner of the screen. Select Privacy Service. Disable the Privacy Service. A restart may be required. (Note: only the Administrator of the computer may disable the Privacy Service.)
If you have another virus protection program installed and you are having problems connecting to Blackboard, try disabling the program and restarting the computer. If that works, you may want to contact the company that manufactures the virus protection program and ask them to help you with this problem, so that you can continue to use their product to protect your computer.
