Registration

New Students

New students who have completed the admissions and advising process are required to register for SOAR (Student Orientation, Advising and Registration). Soar sessions begin in May for Fall registration and in December for Spring registration.

Special Credit Students

Special Credit Students do not have to complete SOAR; but need to be aware that they do not have to take placement tests or provide transcripts unless there is a prerequisite for a class. If there is a prerequisite requirement they would have to meet that requirement either through placement testing or by providing transcripts that show necessary prerequisite requirements.

Current Students

Registering means that your choice of classes has been keyed into the computer system so that you have a seat in a particular class.

You may register for classes over WebAdvisor or with a faculty/staff member. If you register over WebAdvisor, you may print off your own schedule and bill. If a faculty/staff member registers you, s/he will print off your schedule and bill. Please check your schedule/bill to verify registration of correct classes. Be sure to note section numbers of classes. Make sure your classes are on the same campus; or that you have enough time to travel to another campus.
