While the number of resources available through the Internet is immense and continues to grow everyday, keep in mind that not all resources are equally valuable or reliable.
Because the Internet is not the responsibility of any one organization, currently there are no quality controls in place. In view of this, Internet users should critically evaluate the resources they find, especially when the information is to be used for research purposes. If you need further help in evaluating web sites, please ask our Reference Desk staff for assistance.
