North Carolina community college students and others may borrow from the library. Students must have a current-semester North Carolina community college student ID. For GTCC students, the student ID is the library card.  Others receive a different card.

• You do not need to be a GTCC student to borrow books.  You do need to be a North Carolina resident with a valid North Carolina picture ID. The library will issue you a library card, valid for two years. This also applies to continuing education students.
