Resources

Librarians and library staff are available to assist you with our resources. Faculty can also schedule library instruction sessions for their classes.

Print materials: books and reference materials relevant to HP campus programs (especially Human Services, Nursing, Pharmacology, and Entertainment Technology), basic skills/GED materials, popular fiction, nonfiction, and easy readers

Electronic resources: electronic databases with full text scholarly journal and magazine articles, e-books and electronic audio books

Computers: Internet access, MS Office 2010, Blackboard IM, and other educational programs

All computers in the library are for academic use related to the instructional programs offered by GTCC. The library has 10 computer workstations that are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. In addition, the library has an instructional computer lab containing 24 workstations that are often used for library instruction sessions, orientations, and other scheduled events.

Students who wish to use these computers should be aware that they support library instruction and are sometimes unavailable when classes are scheduled for the room.
