Dental Assisting Admission Requirements:

Dental Assisting is a limited enrollment program beginning each fall. Resources such as clinical facilities and faculty, as well as approval standards, limit the number of applicants accepted to the program to 36 students. Dental Assisting is a one-year diploma curriculum and all applicants must meet minimum requirements to be considered for the program. Please note, however, that meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission.

When applicants have completed all of the minimum requirements, they must meet with an admissions advisor for a Dental Assisting Minimum Admissions Requirement (MAR) review. This must be completed by the deadline date, February 5, 2009. A list of alternates will be developed, to be used when an applicant originally accepted, declines admission. Alternates not admitted to the program and other applicants denied admission must re-apply, and complete a new MAR if they wish to be considered for the following year's class.
