Spring Semester - Dental Assisting
The second semester builds on knowledge acquired during the fall term. The student is enrolled in courses that teach principles of dental office management, dental health education and dental sciences. The student has the opportunity for hands-on experimentation and practice with a variety of materials used in dentistry. The second semester also includes extensive clinical practice in GTCC’s on-campus clinic and off-site in area dental practices.
