Summer Semester - Dental Assisting

The summer term culminates the students' experience. The student participates in clinical rotations off-campus in area dental practices. The student also attends a weekly seminar that prepares them for the job search and serves as a capstone experience for the program. The student is eligible to sit for the certification examination offered by the Dental Assisting National Board, Inc. and upon graduation is classified as a Dental Assistant II by the North Carolina State Board of Dental Examiners.
