Community Service Class Offered on Anger Control

GREENSBORO - A class on "Controlling Anger through Research Education and Strengthening" will be offered at Guilford Technical Community College, 3505 E. Wendover Ave., Sept. 11 through Oct. 16. The class will be held in the Continuing Education Building.

The two-hour classes are among several community service classes the college will offer this fall, according to Cynthia Graves, director of community education.

Cost of the class is $80, and maximum enrollment will be 15 people.

It is primarily a referral class but is being offered to the public for personal enrichment, Graves said. "The program takes a structured approach for men and women to effectively assist them with coping with and managing anger-provoking situations as they arise daily," she said.

The class is a subsidiary of the Self Liberty Independence Determination Endurance Sovereignty program.
