THREE GTCC TRUSTEES GET REAPPOINTED FOR FOUR YEARS

JAMESTOWN - Three members of the GTCC Board of Trustees have been reappointed to four- year terms ending in 2015.
Student Government Association president Darren Lipman of Jamestown also will serve on the board for a year as an ex-officio member.

The 12 trustees are elected to staggered terms by the Guilford County Board of Commissioners,. Gov. Beverly Perdue and the Guilford County Board of Education.
Attorney Jarvis Harris of Greensboro, vice-chairman of the trustees, was appointed to another term by Gov. Perdue.
Susan Alt of High Point, secretary of the board and an employee of Volvo Trades North America, was appointed by the county commissioners.

James H. Bryant III, retired from Bryant and Associates, was appointed by the board of education. Bryant had filled the remaining term of a trustee who resigned. Bryant was chairman of the committee which conducted the search for a new college president after Dr. Donald W. Cameron retired. Dr. Randy Parker became president on Sept. 1.
With one year remaining on their terms are Edith Chance of Greensboro, Charles A. Greene of High Point and board chairman Coy. O.Williard Jr. of High Point.

Dr. Janice Brewington, Shirley T. Frye and J. Robert Landreth Jr., all of Greensboro, have two years remaining on their terms.
Robert A. Bruggeworth, J. Patrick Danahy, both of Greensboro, and Mary L. Jarrell of High Point have three years remaining on their appointments.
