TWO GTCC CLASSES QUALIFY AS DETENTION OFFICERS

JAMESTOWN - The 53rd and 54th GTCC classes for Detention Officers held a joint graduation ceremony at the college on Nov. 9.
Guilford County Sheriff BJ Barnes was speaker for the event in the auditorium of the Percy Sears Applied Technologies Building.
The graduates and the law enforcement agencies sponsoring them were:
53rd Class
•    Guilford County Sheriff's Office - Ashley Newman, Kyle Mason, Chris Mounce, Robert Land, Angie Myers, Marcus McIntosh, Joshua Allen and Terrance Stringer, all of Greensboro; John Blevins of Reidsville; James Draime of Alabama; Kenneth Canoy Jr. of High Point; Richard Holsonback of Gibsonville;  LaQuan McKenzie of Flint, MI; Stephany Cunningham of Elizabethtown; John Meka Bozeman of Wilmington; Ashley Ling of Alexandria, VA.
•    Forsyth County Sheriff's Office - Chuck Cox of Richmond, KY.
•    Rockingham County Sheriff's Office - Madonna Brooks of Reidsville and William Baggerly of Pittsylvania Co., VA.
