Beginning Guitar (11 Part 1)

Guitar Intermediate

Quilting 101

This course is designed to teach all levels of quilters basic to advanced skills and techniques useful in creating quilts. The course will cover use of a mat and rotary cutter, instruction for a variety of blocks patterns, and tips for piecing a final quilt top. Beginning Fly Fishing

Learn the art of freshwater fly fishing in this course covering techniques in casting, fishing and a bit of fly tying. You will have a working knowledge of fly fishing from streams, rivers, lakes and ponds through combination of lecture and hands on experience. Tying Fishing Knots

Students will be rigging a flying outfit with popular contemporary fly fishing knots and learning how they relate to the fly line, leader, and system as a whole. Among the knots we'll cover are the nail knot tied without a tool, an Albright, a Duncan Loop, a Perfection Loop, 5/7 knot, blood knot, clinch, non-slip mono loop knot, and more time permitting. We'll also look at joining dissimilar materials like light material to heavy, and sometimes mono to wire.
