Guilford County JobsNOW Program
|
| The JobsNow 12 in 6 program is an initiative of Gov. Beverly Perdue. This training is geared to help workers quickly(training programs offered over a six month period) learn new skills and re-enter the job market in positions where there are employment needs to be filled. Funding for this initiative is supported by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), the Department of Commerce, Division of Workforce Development and the local Workforce Development Board. JobsNow is a partnership between Guilford Technical Community College and the Guilford County Job Link System. |

• Medical Administrative Assistant Training
• Green Weatherization
• Enhanced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training
• Industrial Maintenance |

| Individuals interested in learning more about the JobsNow programs should adhere to the follow steps: |
1.) An interest application for the Workforce Investment Program (WIA) should be completed online at www.guilfordjoblink.com
Once this is submitted online, they will be given several choices to schedule a WIA orientation.
2.) Testing dates will also be given. Individuals will need to pass required testing.
3.) WIA eligibility determinations will be made. |
