Board of Elections

| The Guilford County Board of Elections will provide advanced training to citizens serving as or interested in becoming election officials and poll workers. The course will cover all aspects of precinct management and polling place duties, standards of conduct and North Carolina laws governing elections and procedures. All current election officials and any citizen interested in becoming a poll worker are eligible for this course. No textbook required. Cost of this class is $73. |

If you are 65 or older, you are not required to pay the course fee.
However, you will still need to complete a registration form prior to the class start date.

Disclaimer
GTCC will make a 100% refund of registration fees if you officially withdraw from class BEFORE the first class meeting. GTCC will refund 75% of the registration fee (of tuition only) if you officially withdraw from classes on the first day of classes OR before the class reaches the 10% point. The 10% point varies from class to class. To request a refund, please call Diane Dean at (336) 334-4822 Extension 4329. If a class is cancelled or full, GTCC will automatically process a full refund. Refunds are processed on a monthly basis. The College refund policy is established by state legislative action and is subject to change without prior notice to students. |
