Certified Manufacturing Technician

New High Technology Manufacturing is on the horizon in the Triad with companies in the bus, computer, device and biotechnology fields. This program introduces trainees to the basic concepts of manufacturing by emphasizing the importance of quality and its role in company profitability and job sustainability. To successfully complete the Fundamentals program and receive recognition of successful completion, a participant must complete all four core modules and two of the four electives with an 80% assessment score or higher. This comprehensive course is designed to give participants the core skills necessary to qualify for positions in high technology manufacturing organizations. Upon successful completion of this course students will have receive the Manufacturing Certification credential stating their skills.
Salary Range: $12-$15 per hour for entry level positions with potential to earn more with additional training and experience. |
