Guilford County is home to several large health care providers and numerous assisted living and nursing care facilities, all of which need trained and caring Nurse Assistants. | This 190-hour training includes: |
The course is 190 hours approximately 3 to and 3 ½ months, 4 hours, 4 to 5 days each week. Attendance is very strict and you must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, stand up to 8 hrs, stoop, bend, speak English fluently and have a flexible schedule for lab and clinical. The lab and clinical portion happens after the class room and may require some 6 to 8 hr. days to complete the state required resident skills check offs. You must maintain a 75% test average. Students dismissed from class are not eligible for refunds.
In order to register, you must present the following in person at the time of registration. You must have the tuition fee, a high school diploma or GED with English translation, government issued picture ID and official social security card in order to enroll in the class. The name on the picture ID and Soc. Sec. Card must be identical. Bring these items with you to registration. On-line registration is not available. |
