Essential Skills are basic skills that are critical to your employees’ successful job performance, such as reading, applied math, and locating information.
Using WIN, an assessment and training tool, we determine the essential skills required for a specific job, measure the actual employee skill level, determine skill gaps, and train the specific skills the employee needs via a PC.
Here’s how:
1. We start with industry-specific profiles that indicate the necessary skills and the level of those skills required for the employee’s job.
2. Based on the essential skills for that job, we assess the employee’s actual skills and determine any skill gaps.
3. We then provide the employee with targeted skill training via a PC that gives the employee the specific skills needed to meet performance standards.
4. We will follow up to make sure that the trained employee is getting the expected job performance. |
