Course Description
This training can be done on your site if you have the necessary equipment. The training topics and program hours are customized around the specific skills your employees need. The following units and their associated skill sets can be combined and customized to your specific job applications. Number of program hours based on the specific job applications. Each skill area represents 10-20 contact hours.

Blueprint Reading - Basic
This program introduces the basic principles of blueprint reading. Topics include line types, orthographic projections, dimensioning methods, and notes. Upon completion, students should be able to interpret basic blueprints and visualize the features of a part.

Blueprint Reading: Mechanical
This program covers the interpretation of intermediate blueprints. Topics include tolerancing, auxiliary views, sectional views, and assembly drawings. Upon completion, students should be able to read and interpret a mechanical working drawing.

Blueprint Reading/Construction
This program covers the interpretation of blueprints and specifications that are associated with the construction trades. Emphasis is placed on interpretation of details for foundations, floor plans, elevations, and schedules. Upon completion, students should be able to read and interpret a set of construction blueprints.

Interpretation of GD & T
This program introduces dimensioning and tolerancing standards as established by ANSI and ISO 9000. Topics include dimensioning, symbols and terms, application of tolerances and limits, tolerances of position and form, and the advantages of geometric concepts. Upon completion, students should be able to interpret blueprints that utilize the GD & T system.

We will deliver training to suit your schedule. All programs can be conducted in increments as little as two hours per session or as long as 6 hours a session.

Cost
$100 per instructor hour plus a one-time $100 administrative fee per program. Participant materials are extra.
