Industrial: Hydraulics/Pneumatics

Course Description
This training can be done on your site if you have the necessary equipment. The training topics and program hours are customized around the specific skills your employees need. The following units and their associated skill sets can be combined and customized to your specific job applications. Number of program hours based on the specific job applications. Each skill area represents 10-20 contact hours.

Hydraulics/Pneumatics
This program introduces the basic components and functions of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Topics include standard symbols, pumps, control valves, control assemblies, actuators, FRL, maintenance procedures, and switching and control devices. Upon completion, participants should be able to understand the operation of a fluid power system, including design, application and troubleshooting.

Hydraulics/Medium/Heavy Duty
This program introduces hydraulic theory and applications as applied to mobile equipment. Topics include component studies such as pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, filters, reservoirs, lines and fittings. Upon completion, participants should be able to identify, diagnose, test, and repair hydraulic systems using schematics and technical manuals.

Advanced Hydraulics
This program covers advanced hydraulic systems. Emphasis is placed on advanced hydraulic systems and components, troubleshooting, and other related topics. Upon completion, participants should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the installation, operation, and maintenance of hydraulic components and systems.

Electro-pneumatic Components
This program introduces principles and practical applications of electrical/pneumatic control systems, and primary control devices incorporated in those systems. Emphasis is placed on reading and interpreting ladder diagrams, building control circuits, and troubleshooting valves, switches, and sensors. Upon completion, participants should be able to design, build, and troubleshoot basic electro-pneumatic control systems.

Programs are tailored to suit your specific training needs.

Delivery Options
We will deliver training to suit your schedule. All programs can be conducted in increments as little as two hours per session or as long as 6 hours a session.

Cost
