Industrial: Math Measurements

Course Description
Designers specify the measurements of products so they will function properly and reliably. Manufacturing, then, makes products according to their design measurements. To do this, manufacturing workers must  measure (counting, reading scales and dials), read graphs, compute, set machine controls, read measuring instruments, interpret graphs, and use basic math. Products that do not meet design specifications are scrapped or must be reworked, which decreases productivity and profits. Making and reading measurements are essential skills for maintaining manufacturing quality.
