Course Description
This training can be done on your site if you have the necessary equipment. The training topics and program hours are customized around the specific skills your employees need. The following units and their associated skill sets can be combined and customized to your specific job applications. Number of program hours based on specific job application. Each unit represents 10-20 contact hours.

PLC Basics
Introduces participants to the programmable logic controller (PLC) and its associated applications. Topics include ladder logic diagrams, input/output modules, power supplies, surge protection, selection/installation of controllers, and interfacing of controllers with equipment. Upon completion, students should be able to install PLCs and create simple programs.

PLC Application
This unit builds on the individual’s knowledge of the programming and applications of programmable logic controllers. Emphasis is placed on advanced programming, networking, advanced I/O modules, reading and interpreting error codes, and troubleshooting. Upon completion, students should be able to program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers.

Length of program based on participants’ specific skill needs.

Delivery Options
We will deliver training to suit your schedule. All programs can be conducted in increments as little as two hours per session or as long as 6 hours a session.

Cost
$100 per instructor hour plus a one-time $100 administrative fee per program. Participant materials are extra.
