| The Nursing Assistant program consists of 190 hours of classroom and clinical studies and takes approximately three months to complete. Students are prepared to provide personal hands-on care to patients, residents, and clients. Nurse Assistants work in a variety of health care settings such as nursing homes, hospitals, private homes, home health agencies, assisted living facilities,hospice, and medical doctor's offices. Successful completion of the program qualifies the student to sit for the NC state nursing assistant test and state certification. |
