The dental assisting clinic consists of 7 complete, functional dental units for dental assisting preclinical and clinical instruction. Each of the treatment areas have ADEC patient chairs with behind the patient delivery systems.

X-rays are taken on patients utilizing one of the X-ray units within the dental assisting clinic or in the radiology clinic (down the hall and across from the dental hygiene clinic).

A sterilization room is located within the dental assisting clinic. It is where instruments are cleaned and prepared for sterilization. Following instrument usage, instrument cassettes are placed directly in an ultrasonic unit. The drained instrument cassettes are then wrapped and secured using autoclave tape. The packs are loaded into an autoclave and are prepared for sterilization.

In addition to the dental assisting clinic, GTCC also has a dental hygiene clinic.
