| AAD Application Process |
The AAD program (accelerated alternate delivery) allows a graduate from a non-accredited program to complete an on-line course offered by our accredited program and become a graduate of Guilford Technical Community College. Successful completion of this course gives the student eligibility for certification. The AAD course lasts one semester and is self-paced. All coursework is submitted online.

To be considered for the program the applicant must:
1. Submit a GTCC application.
2. Submit a transcript from previous schools attended.
The transcript will be evaluated for the following credits or equivalents:
Eng-111 composition (3 credits)
Mat- 110 mathematical measurements (3credits)
Bio-163 Anatomy and Physiology (4 credits)
Bio-175 Microbiology (4 credits)
**These credits can not be more than ten years old**
3. Submit a letter of recommendation from his/her supervisor.
4. Submit a letter of recommendation from a surgeon.
5. Submit a clinical experience form. This form documents needs to document at least 150 procedures in:
General, OB/GYN, ENT, URO and Ortho Specialties.
Once all documentation is submitted and review by the Records Office for completeness, the AAD director will notify the student of acceptance into the program. |
