| Endowed Scholarships |
| Endowed Scholarships ensure that the Foundation has support available to worthy students. For an investment of $15,000.00, you can establish a named endowed scholarship which will provide assistance in perpetuity. As only the interest is expended, the endowment remains as a lasting and permanent tribute to your generosity to our students. |

| Scholarships |
Although tuition and fees to attend GTCC are substantially less than some colleges, there are still students who cannot afford to attend. Support for these students is vital to ensure they will have the same opportunity as those who can afford to stay in school. With an ever increasing enrollment and a slow down in the economy, student needs have escalated tremendously.
The Guilford Technical Community College Foundation currently has approximately 100 scholarships which support our students in various areas of study. We are delighted to accept contributions to a specific scholarship or to the general scholarship fund. |

| Endowed Teaching Chairs |
| A donation to establish an Endowed Teaching Chair will provide funding to recognize the academic excellence of the professor chosen for this honor. The interest generated by this endowment will be used to support the faculty in innovative teaching projects, attendance at seminars, return to industry, advanced course work in the faculty's subject area, or other faculty development projects. |

| Equipment and Academic Support |
In order to train our students using the latest in technology, we must count of private support. State and local funds are inadequate to maintain all of the equipment required to prepare our students for today’s workplace. |

| PC for GED's Program |
Through the generosity of the High Point Chamber of Commerce (http://www.highpointchamber.org), graduates of the High Point campus GED program at Guilford Technical Community College are the recipients of refurbished computers. The Chamber will pick up used (working and non-working) computers, make any necessary repairs and present them to graduates of the GED program.
The GTCC Foundation will gladly accept donations of cash to support this program and will issue the appropriate gift-in-kind acknowledgement to any donor who provides a computer. | Professional Development |
| The Foundation helps to underwrite the professional development of our faculty and staff. Rapid advances in the technology which must be taught, as well as the technology available for teaching, make it imperative that adequate funding is available for faculty to be able to keep pace. Professional Development funds help bridge this gap. |

| Unrestricted Donations |
| Funds which are donated with no specified restrictions are allocated by the Foundation Board to the greatest needs of the College. |

| Friends of the Cline Observatory |
| Guilford Technical Community College has the distinction of being the only community college in North Caroline with its own observatory. The observatory serves as a resource to the community and is supported in part through donations to the GTCC Foundation. For more information, please visit the Cline Observatory website. |

| Honor Roll of Donors |
Each year, the Honor Roll of Donors will be published in Today and Tomorrow, the Foundation newsletter.
Every donor will be recognized in one of the categories found in Levels of Giving. |
